GAAM also drops a hydration innovation infused with sources of carbohydrates

Gaam Isotonic Hydration

GAAM Nutrition in Sweden recently released a hydration supplement simply named GAAM Electrolyte, where you get a simple set of electrolytes, as the name implies, to support hydration, performance, and recovery. The team also snuck out another, similarly minded innovation by the name of Isotonic Hydration that relies on a slightly different set of ingredients. This one does have a reliable set of key electrolytes, but there is another side to it to further drive performance and endurance.

GAAM Isotonic Hydration has two sides to it, or three if you count the variety of vitamins the Proteinbolaget house brand has thrown in, with the likes of vitamin C, D, and a few Bs. What makes GAAM Nutrition’s second hydration effort this year different is that it features a combination of dextrose, maltodextrin, and fructose as sources of carbohydrates to fuel performance. Alongside that, in each sizeable 30g serving are key electrolytes, including 55mg of magnesium and 243mg of sodium.

There aren’t as many electrolytes in GAAM Isotonic Hydration as there is GAAM Electrolyte, so there is a game of balance between the two, but the carbohydrate-infused offering does come at a significantly lower price. A tub of 30 servings of Electrolyte costs 199kr through Proteinbolaget’s online store, while Isotonic Hydration is close to half that at 109kr (10.80 USD) in Orange and Wild Strawberry flavors.
