Inlead makes a protein powder designed to be turned into and used as an alternative to cream

Inlead Protein Sahne

German health, nutrition, and functional powerhouse Inlead Nutrition has been releasing unique and creative supplements and snacks almost non-stop since it came to market at the beginning of last year. The company has done most of its innovation in the functional space, pumping out all sorts of baking, cooking, and better-for-you items. This week, the team at Inlead has done it again, introducing another extremely intriguing supplement by way of Protein Sahne, which translates to Protein Cream.

Inlead Nutrition’s Protein Sahne, or Protein Cream in English, is a protein powder; however, it is anything but your standard whey-powered protein solution. Protein Cream is made with whey concentrate, milk protein and whipped cream powder, and the purpose of it all is to essentially use it as a cream alternative. You shake it up with far less water than your standard protein supplement, and the result is a thick, creamy, protein-packed food that can be poured on desserts or enjoyed as a standalone shake.

We’ve seen our fair share of functional foods and protein products, and many of those came from Got7 Nutrition, where one of the innovative founders of Inlead Nutrition began. Protein Sahne, or Protein Cream, is yet another creation from the German company that we simply have not seen before, and this is becoming a recurring theme here. The nutrition profile is most definitely far better than cream, with 42g of protein per serving to 9g of carbohydrates, no added sugar, just under 6g of fat, and 260 calories.

Inlead Nutrition has launched Protein Sahne, Protein Cream, through its online store at €22.90 (23.80 USD) for a half-kilogram bag, which is enough for ten servings, although you can scale this supplement. You don’t need to have full servings; you can scale it down or up to suit your needs, whether it’s for a rich and creamy post-workout shake or you want to cover your protein ice cream with it.
