Kudo clears its Instagram and runs a clearance sale as it prepares for something significant

Kudo Revamping Its Protein Popcorn

Kudo is a functional food company known heavily via its partnership with the giant fighting organization, the UFC. Its signature, as well as one and only product, is Kudo Protein Popcorn, a bag of light and crispy popcorn that isn’t covered in anything as we’ve seen in other popcorns that are high in protein, although it still very much delivers on its name. The protein snack carries a respectable 10g of protein per bag, and it doesn’t disappoint in other areas with 11g of carbohydrates, 9g of fat, and a reasonable 150 calories.

The reason we’ve got Kudo and its flagship Protein Popcorn in the spotlight today is something big is coming from the functional company in the next few days. Firstly, the brand is currently directing fans to its Amazon page, where its original product is half-price, a seemingly clearance-level sale. Secondly, Kudo has completely cleared out its Instagram, featuring nothing but two posts from this week. Third and finally, it has shared a preview of two different-sized yellow bags with what looks like popcorn on them.

With all of the clues in place, it looks as though Kudo is about to undergo a rebrand, switching to a uniform yellow color design, as both of those previewed bags are yellow, and so is the entire background of its currently closed-off website. We’re also guessing it is potentially launching regular and snack-sized bags of protein popcorn with a new and improved recipe or maybe new flavors. The improved product suspicions come from the significant rebrand, as we can’t imagine Kudo making all of these changes without a whole new experience, although only time will tell as it counts down to Monday of next week.
