Premier offers a more luxurious flavor experience for a slightly higher price in its Indulgence Series

Premier Protein Indulgence

Indulgence is a whole new family of protein products from the team at the widely available and easily accessible Premier Protein, which can be found mostly in mainstream locations like Walmart and Costco. The health and nutrition company makes protein much easier to get into your day-to-day life by way of protein drinks, powder, and even protein cereal. The Indulgence line aims to do that alongside a gourmet taste in the form of convenient ready-to-drink protein and a bulk protein powder.

Premier Protein’s Indulgence Protein Powder is available in just the one flavor to start with a delicious Salted Caramel Truffle, intended to taste like a rich and decadent box of truffles. While flavor is the core focus of the brand’s new series, that has not stopped it from delivering top-quality nutrition. Every serving of the protein powder packs 30g of protein from an isolate-first blend of whey isolate and concentrate, next to 4g of carbohydrates, half of that sugar, 2.5g of fat, and 160 calories.

The beverage is the slightly more interesting entry in Premier Protein’s Indulgence family, mostly because it has significantly more tastes to choose from. One of those is Salted Caramel Truffle, and there are three others in Decadent Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, and White Chocolate Raspberry. The macros on this are right in the realm of the brand’s standard protein shake, with 30g of protein from whey concentrate and calcium caseinate, around 6g of carbohydrates, half of that sugar, 3g of fat, and 170 calories in an 11.5oz bottle and 11oz carton.

Premier Protein has both revealed and released its extensive Indulgence Series this week, with stock of the 11oz carton protein shakes already available from the likes of Walmart at $11.12, making them about 15% more expensive than the brand’s regular drinks. As mentioned, that extra money does not go to waste; it is for a more gourmet, or as the brand puts it, luxurious taste experience, with intricate, multi-level flavors that are beyond the standard Chocolate, Vanilla, and Cookies & Cream.
