Creativity continues to flow at Inlead and into a dark chocolate frosting that has no added sugar

Inlead Choc Coating

Inlead Nutrition has been busy closing out 2024, and it’s even more impressive because the European competitor only just hit the market at the beginning of the year. We just saw the innovative team drop two intriguing items over the last few days in the low-calorie Toffee Caramel Topping and the industry-first, no-added-sugar icing tool, Color Pens. The German brand is keeping the creativity flowing and has also rolled out another tasty functional item by way of Choc Coating.

The all-new Choc Coating from Inlead Nutrition is very similar to Color Pens, or at least the end result is along the same lines, as it is a powder product that can quickly and easily be turned into frosting, icing, or in this case, a chocolate coating. Basically, you take the pouch of powder and place it in a bowl or pot of boiling water around 140°F for five to ten minutes, wait until the contents has melted into a frosting sort of consistency, cut a hole in the bottom, then squeeze on to whatever.

You can also prepare the product in the microwave setting it at max for a minute, in a vertical position, and serve the same. Like Color Pens, the functional feature of Inlead Nutrition’s Choc Coating is that it’s low in sugar and has no added sugar, but still relatively calorie-dense at 13.5g of carbohydrates in 30g, about half a gram of that sugar, 13.2g of fat, and 156 calories. The German functional brand sells the product in 100g sachets at a cost-effective €2.95 in the one Dark Chocolate flavor.
