Not too long ago, almost every couple of weeks, we saw a new entrant in the energy drink category, one after another, and it wasn’t exclusive to the United States. Sports nutrition brands from all around the globe were cooking up carbonated and caffeinated canned drinks, although the trends have shifted more toward premium pre-workouts and hydration since then. There are still plenty of companies in the industry that did not get on the energy drink train; one of those was the reputable Alpha Lion.
While an Alpha Lion energy drink or maybe even an Alpha Lion Superhuman energy drink, is not a reality at the moment, it looks as though that will change in the near future. The brand has posted a teaser asking fans what flavors they would like to see if it did indeed go through the monumental effort to produce one. This is not confirmation that Alpha Lion is making an energy drink; it’s all suggested to be hypothetical, although we can’t see why the brand would bother to ask unless it was happening.
Alpha Lion has been in the business for an impressive amount of time and has found great success, recently announcing that it has done a million orders through its online store. The brand has a good grasp of the industry and clearly knows what its customers want, and an entry into the fiercely competitive energy drink space will be interesting. Whether it’s an Alpha Lion or Superhuman energy drink, we look forward to seeing this come to life, as we’re fairly certain the concept is in the works.
