Last year, the category that exploded the most in the sports nutrition industry was hydration, and it wasn’t limited to just traditional, bulk supplements. In 2024 and even a good amount of 2023, brands from all corners of the market came out with powders, pills, functional foods, and beverages, all about supporting hydration. Kevin Levrone’s brand in Europe is a bit late, but better late than never, as it has just come out with something in that area.
Levrone Signature Series is rolling out to stores and stockists, Advanced Hydration, under the Levrone Gold Series, and it is truly an advanced supplement specifically for improving hydration, performance, and recovery. The brand has squeezed in close to a gram of combined electrolytes, the majority of that being potassium at 600mg, plus a few like-minded components in glycine, taurine, glutamine, and a gram of the carbohydrate source, Enduracarb trehalose.
Kevin Levrone and Levrone Signature Series hadn’t really approached the hydration category as specifically as it has in Gold Advanced Hydration, previously only hinting at it with infusions here and there, like in Anabolic BCAA Hydration. The brand may have pulled together an advanced formula for this one, but it has priced it very reasonably for the category it’s competing in at 54 PLN (14.36 USD) for a full-size tub of 30 servings.
