While Elixr Energy is a company based out of the United Kingdom, we’ve been introduced to the beverage newcomer here in Cologne, Germany, at this year’s FIBO expo, and it’s an intriguing offering. The convenient category is becoming more and more competitive by the day in the US, although internationally, those jumping into the fray aren’t as common. Elixr is one of the fresh new faces tackling the energy drink market and with a bold approach.
One of the quickest ways to separate yourself from the many other competitors in the energy drink space is by formula, squeezing in a potent blend of ingredients and dosages. Most beverages don’t get too deep on that side of things, so again, it’s a quick way to stand out to consumers. Elixr Energy is looking to do precisely that, filling its flagship product with beta-alanine for performance, the metabolism-enhancing carnitine, a variety of B vitamins, arginine, and for a reliable hit of smooth uplifting energy, there is theanine and an exact 201mg of caffeine.
We were fortunate enough to try all of the flavors of the Elixr Energy Drink at FIBO, where the beverage brand is making itself known with its sleek and stylish but standout can design. The product looks great sitting on a shelf and even more so in your hand, then on the inside the flavor is on point. Elixr Energy comes in three tastes with Mixed Berry, Fruit Twist, and our favorite Peach Raspberry, and they have just six calories a can. For more information and purchasing, head to the brand’s website, where cases of a dozen are £23.99 (31.14 USD).
