Myprotein makes a second wafer snack designed more as a better-for-you chocolate treat

Myprotein Filled Wafer

Fans of the international giant Myprotein will know that when it comes to functional foods and better-for-you snacks, its selection is second to none. The health and nutrition company has a variety of edible items that are second to none, including a light and crispy protein bar by way of Crispy Wafer, featuring layers of flavorful cream and crunchy wafers providing 15g of protein. Myprotein is expanding on that particular product this month with a mouthwatering twist to the format in the Filled Wafer.

Myprotein’s Filled Wafer describes its difference in the name, featuring a wafer-style treat that is divided up and connected piece by piece. Each of the bite-sized pieces is made up of a crispy wafer shell covered in milk chocolate, and then inside is a creamy hazelnut-flavored filling. The treat sounds and looks a hell of a lot tastier than the Crispy Wafer, and it has the room to do so since the nutrition won’t get in the way, sitting at a low 4.8g of protein in every 24g piece, 8.6g of carbohydrates, and 133 calories.

While the delicious-looking Filled Wafer is the second functional food from Myprotein with wafer texture and consistency involved, it’s not hugely related or connected to the original Crispy Wafer. The international brand has taken a better-for-you, more protein treat approach on this one, designing it as an alternative to a sugar-stacked candy bar. Myprotein hasn’t priced the Filled Wafer like a protein bar either, sitting at £12.99 (16.78 USD) for a box of 12 pieces in the one Hazelnut flavor at the moment.
