MusclePharm has come out swinging this week with some of the most advanced supplements we’ve seen from the long-running sports nutrition company, once commonly referred to as The Athlete’s Company. The Pro Series is a whole new family of complex products from MusclePharm, and the star of the show is the pre-workout Wreckage. The brand has continued to use that name since it debuted as the pre-workout for the Hardcore Series, and it’s back this year, taking that role in the Pro Series.
The Pro Series pre-workout MusclePharm Wreckage is more about performance and strength than any of the other core benefits for this type of supplement. It includes a 2.5g blend of five different creatines, including creatine MagnaPower, dicreatine malate, creatine citrate, creatine pyruvate, and creatine alpha-ketoglutarate. That helps support the performance parts of the product, but that is far from where the formula ends, as, again, this is one of MusclePharm’s most complex innovations to date.

Alongside the creatine blend of the Pro Series Wreckage is a host of pump components in 8g of citrulline malate, a gram each of agmatine and Nitrosigine, and 50mg of the superfood blend S7. Next to that, furthering the performance and endurance in MusclePharm’s newest pre-workout is an extra high dosage of beta-alanine at 4.5g, a fair amount above the usual 3.2g, and 1.5g of betaine anhydrous.
As mentioned, there is a lot in MusclePharm’s pre-workout Wreckage for strength and performance, but it still makes sure you get a good energy kick out of it. Rounding out the formula is a handful of nootropics and stimulants, with a combined 950mg of VitaCholine, tyrosine, and n-acetyl-tyrosine for a bit of focus and cognition. Then, for energy, you get a 335mg blend of caffeine anhydrous, Coffeeberry, and extended-release zumXR for a strong combined total of 325mg of caffeine from the two sources.
MusclePharm’s whole Pro Series is an advanced collection of supplements, as you can see in the Wreckage formula above, offering more than some of the simpler pre-workouts on the market. The price of the product reflects that, too, at $49.99 for a tub of 20 maximum servings. There are at least three other items in the Pro Series, with everything having the ability to work together, and they all have the Informed Choice mark, meaning they’ve been thoroughly tested for banned substances.
