MusclePharm’s Pro Series includes a creatine-infused protein blend and a clear protein

Musclepharm Pro Series Protein Powders

MusclePharm’s Informed Choice certified Pro Series does cover the popular and saturated category of protein powder; in fact, it has two, each with its own distinctive points of difference. Alongside the pre-workout Wreckage and amino acid formula, Endura-Drive is the blend-style Protein+ and the clear competitor Clear-ISO. Not only are the two separated by their approach in formula, one with a blend and the other a lone premium source, but they also offer alternative flavor experiences.

Pro Series Protein+

Protein+ is MusclePharm’s more complex offering in its advanced Pro Series, bringing together fast to slow-digesting sources in whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate, milk concentrate, and egg albumin to provide 25g of protein per serving. There is a good amount of carbohydrates in there, too, at 7g, 5g of that sugar, a gram of fat, and 160 calories. There is actually a bit more to the supplement outside of the protein, as MusclePharm has thrown in a variety of superfoods, enzymes to improve digestion and gut health, and creatine monohydrate, citrate, and pyruvate at a combined 5g of creatine.

Pro Series Clear-ISO

The other protein powder under MusclePharm’s Pro Series is Clear-ISO, and compared to Protein+, this is more specifically about providing a quality source of protein at 20g per serving, all from fast-absorbing whey isolate. The brand has added extra free-form glutamine alongside the natural-occurring glutamine to boost the product to 5g. MusclePharm’s Clear-ISO is also indeed a clear-style protein powder that comes in refreshing fruity flavors, not milkshake options, with Chery Slush and a candy-like Sour Peach Rings.

As mentioned, there are distinct differences between the MusclePharm Pro Series protein powders: Protein+ provides a multi-stage blend formula infused with creatine and superfoods, and Clear-ISO is more focused on providing fast-absorbing protein in a clear and refreshing flavor. Both supplements are about the same price per gram of protein, putting aside the advanced extras of Protein+, which is $59.99 for a tub of 24 servings, then the whey isolate-powered Clear-ISO is down at $44.99 for 20 servings.
