Innovative KRE18 combines liquid-stable creatine and reliable ingredients for a line of beverages

Kre18 Beverages

KRE18 is an extremely promising functional beverage brand that doesn’t appear to be making as much noise as it should, given what it is promising. KRE18 is selling its various energy and performance drinks through its website, and you might want to do just that when you learn the variety it has to offer and, more importantly, what’s in each of the products. The brand’s signature is not only that it’s exclusive to the beverage format, but the drinks also all have creatine in them.

As we’ve mentioned many times, creatine monohydrate is not stable in solution, which means it will break down over time. This has been one of the longtime issues with creatine in any sort of drink, and something Glanbia itself tested and found was that within 50 days, all of the creatine it had in the solution broke down into the creatine waste product creatinine. Again, this is a huge issue when a beverage may be on the shelf for quite some time; however, KRE18 has found a solution.

KRE18 does use creatine like some others, but what makes it different is that it microencapsulates the muscle-building ingredient with the help of ActiveTR. That innovation has been paired with many other ingredients over the years in sports nutrition supplements, such as ActiveTR Leucine and ActiveTR Caffeine. ActiveTR is a time-released innovation, although it’s used to solve the instability of creatine in asolution with 3g of it in every KRE18 drink.

Kre18 Creatine Energy Drink

The innovative use of creatine isn’t the only highlight of KRE18; it also makes a name for itself in the variety of products it offers. There are four beverages available from the newcomer, and each of them has two flavors to choose from, starting with KRE18 Total Body Hydration, pairing creatine and 1.645g of electrolytes and Pre-Workout Booster with creatine, citrulline, betaine, beta-alanine, and the innovative caffeine alternative paraxanthine. Next is KRE18 Muscle Fuel & Recovery, featuring 30g of whey isolate, creatine, and a clear, refreshing flavor, and finally, Energy Booster with creatine, paraxanthine, and the nootropics acetyl-l-carnitine and alpha-gpc.

As touched on earlier, KRE18 isn’t making as much noise right now as it should be we have a sneaking suspicion that will change once word gets out. The innovation with ActiveTR creatine is impressive, and something competitors in the energy drink space have not been able to easily solve. Not only does the newcomer KRE18 appear to have the answer, it hasn’t rested on just that, combining the creatine with a whole host of other beneficial and premium ingredients.
