The powerhouse German newcomer Inlead Nutrition, from a founder of the functional food legend Got7 Nutrition, has been creating and innovating since it came to market. The brand has been doing pretty much what Got7 was known for: pumping out some incredibly unique and alternative formats and concepts; we just saw one of those in the protein cream, Protein Sahne. That continues this week with Protein Pudding, a powder supplement that can quickly be turned into a protein custard.
Inlead Nutrition’s Protein Pudding comes with 19g of protein in a moderate 30g serving, from whey isolate and concentrate, a fair 4.8g of carbohydrates, just over a gram of that sugar, under a gram of fat, and calories sitting at 104. Again, it’s not so much the macronutrients that make this product something special; it’s the delivery and shape it takes. Protein Pudding is a powder that can be mixed with water, shaken or stirred, and the result is a thick dessert, sort of like the classic protein sludge recipe.
Protein Pudding goes nicely with the rest of the extensively functional protein offerings from Inlead Nutrition, like Protein Iced Coffee and the aforementioned Protein Sahne, and it certainly offers a distinctively different experience. There is just one flavor available for the brand’s latest innovation in Vanilla, in a 500g bag, but we imagine that, as per usual, it’ll grow as it finds more success.
