In addition to the debut Dubai Collection from FitKit in Russia, involving a special edition Dubai Chocolate-inspired flavor for several of its protein treats, the creative company has also recently released a whole new type of functional food. Now available from the brand is a familiar type of food, although with its own health and nutrition twist. The innovation is the FitKit Protein Brownie, available in two varieties, one more traditional and the other is covered in milk chocolate.
Both of the FitKit Protein Brownies provide a bit of protein at 7g in the standard uncovered crumbly protein; then, in the 25% heavier dipped or covered brownie, the protein is a pinch higher at 7.5g. The carbohydrates are higher than the protein, presumably ensuring a great eating experience with 14 to 17g, the latter being what’s in the dipped Protein Brownie. There is no added sugar, and the fat goes from 8.5 to 11g, resulting in a high calorie count for the protein at 138 to 172.
FitKit makes some genuinely delicious protein snacks, including its signature marshmallow-like Protein Cake, and while a brownie traditionally has a different consistency, we fully expect the brand to nail it, especially with the protein not being that high. Regardless of which of the two variants you decide on, even if it’s both, you have the same flavors to choose from for the standard Protein Brownie and dipped in Chocolate Pistachio, Chocolate Caramel, and Chocolate Hazelnut.
