Feral’s limited cookie-inspired flavors are introducing an all-new protein powder

Feral Whey Protein

Feral Supplements’ two upcoming limited-time flavors, the Girl Scouts Cookie-inspired Chocolate Mint Cookie and Caramel Coconut Cookie are for a protein powder, but as we suspected, it’s not a protein supplement the brand already has available. Since its debut, the brand from The Tren Twins has had one competitor in the protein powder category with Feral Isolate. The limited edition flavors about to drop from Feral are actually for a separate formula by the name of Feral Whey.

When news got out on the flavors, we mentioned that Feral Whey is on the label, not Feral Isolate, meaning we’re likely getting a different sort of protein supplement. We’ve now got details on what exactly the product is and what makes it different, and it is as we guessed. Feral Whey is a more traditional blend-style product instead of relying entirely on high-end whey isolate like Feral Isolate. Every serving of the supplement comes with 24g of protein from transparently dosed whey concentrate and isolate, 6g of carbohydrates, 2g of fat, and a higher calorie count of 140.

The carbohydrates in Feral Whey are a pinch above your typical blend-style protein powder, but that is to be expected, knowing the Chocolate Mint Cookie and Caramel Coconut Cookie flavors have actual cookie pieces and toasted coconut throughout. As is the case with most protein supplements that have multiple sources, Feral Whey is far more cost-effective than the brand’s isolate-powered counterpart, where you’ll pay $39.95 for a tub of 27 servings compared to Feral Isolate’s $59.95 for 28.
