Quest Nutrition took home our Functional Brand Of The Year Award in 2024, mostly due to the extensive innovation it pumped out, involving different shapes, sizes, formats, and flavor experiences. A company as large as Quest doing creative products as it did is not common, but it certainly got into the rhythm of doing things differently, and it is looking to keep that going in 2025. As its first completely new protein snack for the year, we have the jam-packed Quest Overload Protein Bar.
The key difference with Quest Nutrition’s all-new Overload Protein Bar, especially compared to its selection of already-available bar-format snacks, is that the entire family is dipped in a delicious coating, topped with a tasty drizzle, and loaded, or essentially overloaded with inclusions. It is the flavorful insides that separate the Quest Overload Bar from the likes of the Dipped Quest Bars, which have a coating as well but not as much flavor and fullness squeezed inside.

The Quest Overload Protein Bar has debuted in three flavors, including Sundae Funday with chewy toffee, a creamy vanilla base, chocolate chips, vanilla bits, and peanuts, and Cookie Commotion featuring graham, chocolate, and vanilla cookies, chocolate chips and chunks, and a white chocolate outer. The last entry on the menu is Chocolate Explosion, stacked with dark and milk chocolate chips, chocolate cookies, and a rich fudge base. Every option of the Overload Protein Bar is true to its name, offering an overload of flavor and features beyond anything else the popular brand has on the table.
The nutrition profiles of the Quest Overload Protein Bar give you the traditional 20g of protein, 21 to 25g of carbohydrates, just a gram of that sugar, 3 to 4g of net carbs, 9 to 10g of fat, and 200 to 210 calories. Despite all of the delicious inclusions in the latest Quest Nutrition innovation, it has impressively managed to keep the sugar, net carbs, and calories close to the original Quest Bar. You can get your hands on the new Overload Protein Bar direct at $33.48 for a box of 12.
