Fitness influencer Matt Morsia also known by his handle MattDoesFitness has done some special edition flavor collaborations with the international giant Myprotein but more notably, he is or was the driver behind his own entry in the energy drink market. Morsia joined the mountain of competitors that jumped into the space over the last few years with Morsia Energy, something he worked on for 12 months. It came with a more complex formula, featuring beta-alanine, B vitamins, and 200mg of caffeine, plus no sugar, carbohydrates, or calories.
After being on the market for a little more than two years, coming to life near the end of 2022, Matt Morsia and his energy drink brand, have decided to close up shop. There isn’t any official reason that’s been publicly shared, Morisa Energy has simply announced that it is closing down for good, and once it’s current stock levels are sold through, that is it for the beverage. To help encourage and move out remaining units of the energy drink, there is a clearance sale, and a strong one at that, available exclusively through Morsia Energy’s website.
Everything that remains at morsiaenergy.com is half price; packs of six, full-size cases of 12, and even the variety bundles with all three flavors in Strawberry Crush, Cloudy Lemonade, and Fruit Punch. Again, no official explanation has been provided, but the business of energy drinks is one of the most competitive out there, even more so now compared to when Morsia Energy started. There are many majopr players in the space; either way, we applaud Matt Morsia and his brand for taking a swing at it and the two years the beverage was out there.
