Redefine Foods is the spin-off functional food company from Finaflex, which gained quite a bit of attention when it jumped headfirst into the snacking space with its wholesome, crumbly, and enjoyable Oatmeal Protein Pie. It followed that up with the intensely delicious Power Pie, the first health and nutrition collaboration that saw Finaflex bring the twist of its approach to another world in the iconic Moon Pie, infusing 14g of protein into a reminiscent Moon Pie treat.
Finaflex officially relaunched its functional innovations under Redefine Foods last year, where we got even more collaborations and it’s back again for the start of 2025 with more excitement in a completely new product. The somewhat newcomer has revealed and is preparing to release the Redefine Protein Donut; a ready-to-eat, packaged donut featuring a similar level of protein to its other foods at 15g a piece, all tucked inside a soft and fluffy donut with a familiar tasty covering and hole.
There are two flavors of the Protein Donut from Redefine Foods, and this is where things get most exciting, as there is a straightforward Chocolate with a chocolate donut and chocolate glaze. The other half of the menu is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, a collaboration put together in partnership with Dippin’ Dots ice cream, promising an authentic Dippin’ Dots taste. They both have that 15g of protein and moderately high carbohydrates and calories, or so we imagine, since they tip the scales at 61g, and Redefine’s other offerings have a similar balance of protein to carbohydrates.
