We recently saw the functional food powerhouse FitCrunch, from Chef Robert Irvine, show serious interest in its light and crispy wafer-style protein snack. Last year, the brand gave the FitCrunch Protein Wafer its first extension since its debut in Mint Chocolate Chip, and a couple of weeks ago, we saw a third entry to the product’s menu in Vanilla Gelato. The functional innovator continues that focus on its wafer bar this week by way of flavors number four and five, joining those two and the original Chocolate Peanut Butter.
A touch of fruit or sweet and fruit-based experience was something that was missing in the FitCrunch Protein Wafer, although we did get that a bit in Mint Chocolate Chip. The latest additions to the menu of the crispy high-protein treat are both entirely fruit-focused in Raspberry Tart and a citrusy touch in Lemon Cream. They both pack Protein Wafer’s signature 16g of protein, a matching 16g of fat, 10g of carbohydrates, and 240 calories, and they’re now available directly at $21.99 for a box of nine full-size bars.
