Similar to the Burn Energy Drink, Nalu is a functional beverage company that you won’t find in major markets like the United States, Canada, and Australia, but in parts of Europe it has an immense presence. While the brand may not be a worldwide dominator, it has a pretty extensive selection of products, including its core energy drink in a variety of flavors like Exotic, Passion, and Frost. There are also a couple of themed series in the Tea collection and the creatively-flavored Botanical family.
In the coming months, Nalu is adding something to its line of energy drinks that is long overdue and something we’ve seen from countless other competitors in the space. Similar to ZOA Energy, Monster, Red Bull, and other major players, the Nalu Energy Drink is getting a version without any sugar whatsoever. The product will carry the same name as the brand’s flagship offering with the better-for-you attachment in Nalu Zero Sugar, and inside will be the signature taste of Nalu Original.
Nalu openly confirms the different tastes involved in its Original flavor, with orange, kiwi, apple, and mango, making for a fruit punch-type recipe. That combination appears to be what you’ll get in Nalu Zero Sugar, alongside no sugar, which should bring the carbohydrates down from the regular product’s 12g in a 250ml can to zero, and likely no calories, too. The caffeine will remain the same at 80mg plus a couple of B vitamins, and again, you can expect to see it in coolers in Europe later this year.
