Health, nutrition, and functional brands come in all shapes and sizes, and that variety also applies to ingredients, as there are many out there that specialize or theme themselves around an ingredient or even type of ingredients. HNY+ is one of those, but it is built around something you don’t commonly see at the heart of a sports nutrition company, and it is right in the name. HNY+ is primarily about honey, the sweet, delicious, and carbohydrate-providing honey, plus a bit of extra functionality.
HNY+ makes three products, all of them relatively similar and once again, based around the always enjoyable honey. What the brand has done is take the natural ingredient and stuff it into squeeze packs alongside a splash of electrolytes to support hydration and performance, and depending on the version you grab, caffeine is in there, too. HNY+ and its signature product come in Classic, without caffeine, Buzz 50, with 50mg of caffeine, and Buzz 150, which, you guessed it, has 150mg of caffeine.
The carbohydrates from the honey and electrolytes remain the same across the board for HNY+ Classic, Buzz 50, and Buzz 150, with 18g of carbohydrates per squeeze pouch, all of that sugar from organic honey. The brand and obviously honey-flavored product keep things as simple as they sound, and the cost of any of the items, caffeinated or not is exactly the same at $36 for 12. HNY+ does have larger bundles in a 24 and 36 pack but those work out to the same $36 for 12 or $3 per pouch.
