Eleat has revealed its latest innovation, and while it is in the area of what we suspected, it is definitely not something we saw coming. The functional food company in the United Kingdom is known for its original crispy protein-packed cereal and also sells another breakfast-style product in High Protein Granola. The third-ever creation from Eleat is something most gym-goers and health enthusiasts will be familiar with, in the self-explanatory High Protein Overnight Oats.
The all-new High Protein Overnight Oats from Eleat is a bag of wholesome and nutritious gluten-free wholegrain oat flakes for a reliable source of carbohydrates, and to give it that extra protein at a solid 20g of protein per serving, there is plant-based pea protein. The brand has thrown in a few other superfood ingredients for an extra touch of health and wellness by way of date powder, flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds, as well as decadent cacao nibs.
Again, Eleat High Protein Overnight Oats gives you 20g of protein per serving alongside 32g of carbohydrates, just 4g of that sugar, of course, plenty of fiber at 9.5g, and calories of 322. It is a nutritionally balanced offering, similar to the brand’s original protein cereal and the more recent granola, and while you can just serve it as you would normal oatmeal, this has been designed to be consumed the other way. As per the name, Eleat encourages consumers to throw a serving of Overnight Oats and some milk in the refrigerator overnight to enjoy it in a more mushy fashion the next morning.
You can already purchase pouches of High Protein Overnight Oats straight from Eleat’s online store, and the extra functionality does come at a price, at least compared to your standard oats. A bundle of four 400g bags works out to £7.50 each, and if you go up to the bigger options of six or eight, it comes out the same. There are two flavors to choose from right out of the gate and they are fitting for the breakfast window in Apple Cinnamon and Dark Chocolate.
