We’re leveling up our commenting game, ditching the outdated and no longer supported Facebook comments system for the more robust and versatile Disqus platform. We’ve been running the social media route ever since we had comments on the website, but it’s a change that’s been a long time coming and one we knew we eventually would have to make. Disqus brings a host of features that’ll make your commenting experience smoother and a little more fun, as you get to throw in pictures, style your input, tag other commenters, and even throw in the always entertaining gifs.
Some of the other awesome introductions with the Disqus system are you can choose to build an account for easier commenting across multiple posts, or you can pull the cover over your head and go in anonymously. We’ll be moderating as regularly as we always have, so be sure to keep things kind, well-mannered, and on topic. You can check out the renewed comments section at the bottom of each post here at Stack3d by clicking the large button for it to load; however, unfortunately, we have not been able to port over previous comments in Facebook, leaving every page fresh and new.
