The long-standing name in the category of amino acids got together with the iconic candy company Airheads for what turned out to be three authentic flavors for the original Xtend BCAA. Those creations were Airheads Cherry, White Mystery, and Airheads Blue Raspberry, all inspired by the Airheads candy of the same name.
Xtend is back making waves in the world of flavoring and its signature BCAA-based supplement Xtend Original BCAA, getting together once again with Airheads for an authentic flavor collaboration. The sports nutrition company has spiced things up a bit this time, not just recreating an Airheads treat but specifically the extra sour Airheads Xtremes. The flagship Xtend product has hit the market in an authentic Airheads Xtremes Rainbow Berry flavor, featuring a rainbow-colored sugary candy strip on the tub’s label.
Despite the promising extreme sourness and sweetness, Xtrend’s Airheads Xtemes Rainbow Berry Original BCAA has absolutely no sugar in it, with the main ingredients being the usual 7g of BCAAs at a 2:1:1 ratio plus 2.5g of glutamine and electrolytes. The supplement is out and available now over at The Vitamin Shoppe at $32.99 for a tub of 30 servings.
