Troponin Supplements has competitors in many sports nutrition categories, including, of course, pre-workout, as well as creatine, weight loss, liver and kidney health, nighttime recovery, and one of the more specialized spaces of the industry, intra-workout. The brand reaches into a wide variety of areas and has added to that this month with a rather interesting product by the name of ATP, although this isn’t the performance-powering stackable pre-workout we suspected based on the title.
ATP from Troponin Supplements is sort of a simplified pre-workout nootropic, with three key ingredients, two of them common and the third not so much. The latest innovation from the brand comes in capsule format, and in every capsule, you get 300mg of caffeine, 100mg of theacrine, and 10mg of 4′-DMA-7,8-dihydroxyflavone. That third entry is not completely unheard of but certainly a rarity, and it is known for its ability to improve focus and cognition, and potentially have an antidepressant effect.
The combination of 4-DMA-7,8-DHF of caffeine and theacrine is an interesting one, especially caffeine, as that will limit its use to by itself for many. If caffeine wasn’t at play, it could seamlessly stack with your favorite nootropic, pre-workout, or even energy drink, and infuse the euphoric power of 4-DMA-7,8-DHF. The price on Troponin Supplements’ ATP is high at $44.99 for 90 capsules, but that tends to be the case with this particular ingredient, as the likes of Nootropics Depot sells a 90 capsule standalone with the same 10mg dose at $74.99.
