Redcon1 sprinkles marshmallows throughout its Christmasy flavor of MRE Lite

Redcon1 Peppermint Hot Cocoa Mre Lite

The two-time Brand Of The Year, Redcon1, has done special edition holiday flavors before, where we get limited-time tastes with a festive infusion just in time for Christmas. Longtime fans may recall Peppermint Bark and Gingerbread both for the proudly whey-free protein powder MRE Lite, launched a few years ago before the pandemic. The popular brand is doing it all again for Christmas this year, making another special edition taste for MRE Lite, although it is not something Redcon1 has done before.

The sports nutrition company and energy drink maker has taken a page from a few other popular supplement brands’ books and turned the traditional hot cocoa into a protein powder. Released just in time for the holidays and with plenty of time still left until Christmas Day, Redcon1 has debuted a Peppermint Hot Cocoa flavor of MRE Lite protein powder. It comes with 24g of protein a serving, a lean 130 calories, and tasty miniature marshmallows throughout the powder, and it’s available from redcon1.com at $46.99 for a tub of 30 servings, at least until the limited run sells out.
