Cellucor and its performance brand C4 have gone and done similar to what we saw a little more than one year ago with the stick-pack powder version of its nootropic energy drink, C4 Smart Energy. The hugely successful sports nutrition company has essentially created a stick-pack alternative to its premier, yellow-branded C4 Energy Drink. It has almost all of the same main ingredients as the beverage but comes in a convenient stick-pack format for you to tear the tops off and pour into a shaker.
The formula behind what Cellucor is calling C4 Performance Energy, isn’t exactly the same as the C4 Energy Drink, although it is close. The spin-off powder supplement includes high-quality CarnoSyn beta-alanine to power performance, premium BetaPower betaine for pumps, B vitamins, and, of course, caffeine at an identical 200mg per stick pack for energy. While there are some components missing in citruilline and the nootropic n-acetyl-l-tyrosine, the rest is intact to support several core effects.
Cellucor has launched its all-new C4 Performance Energy exclusively at Walmart, which makes sense with the convenience of it all; the fact you get eight stick packs per box; and the price on it is just $6.28. Interestingly, the calories on the supplement are the same as the C4 Energy Drink at five, and there are three flavors to choose from, all of them from the menu of the original beverage. The tastes are Strawberry Watermelon Ice, the citrusy Orange Slice, and Frozen Bombsicle.
