Traditional American food Granola comes to Sporter’s growing house brand

Sporter Granola

The major health nutrition retailer in the Middle East, Sporter, has been gradually growing its own selection of supplements, the last one we saw was a little more than a year ago with a clean, carbohydrate offering, Cream Of Rice. The retailer and brand is back adding to the family once again this week although this time around it has something more functional and health food than typical sports products, which may be common here in the US but that is not the case internationally.

Sporter has come out with Sporter Granola, and it is as straightforward as it sounds with a bulk jar of granola made with oats, almonds, honey, seeds, and coconut flakes. A standard 50g serving comes with 40g of carbohydrates, in the area of 2.5g of fat, and just shy of 5g of protein for a calorie count of 200. It’s a nice and scalable balance and again, while granola is extremely common in America, it’s very much a specialty item internationally, especially in the likes of the middle east and Asia.

The price of Sporter Granola is not all that expensive sitting at AED 30 (8.17 USD) for a 450g tub, working out to about nine servings at the 50g serving size mentioned above. The even better part is there are several flavors to choose from including traditional options like Classics and Mixed Seeds, then three actual tastes in Peanut Butter, the one the macros above are based on, Dark Chocolate, and Strawberry.
