Next week, the latest edition of our annual protein powder showdown, the Protein Wars, presented by Ingredient Optimized, is taking place, the 12th time we’ve run the competition. With every year that goes by, the number of competitors in the saturated, fiercely competitive category increases, inherently making our Protein Wars contest that extra bit more busy. The whole thing is kicking off on Monday of next week, and you’ll be able to conveniently access it by simply visiting proteinwars.com
For those not familiar with the competition, the first round, the opening round of the Protein Wars, is an all-out battle. We get every protein powder possible on a list; then we let everyone who cares to visit proteinwars.com select and vote for their favorite at a maximum of one vote per device. We will then take the most voted 16 supplements and move them on to the second round, and have them battle it out in four groups of four, the winners then progressing into the semifinals.
We’ve got the complete list of protein powders that’ll be on that list to vote for the 2024 Protein Wars, powered by Ingredient Optimized, but this is not final. Any supplement you’d like to see on there and be able to efficiently vote on in round one, simply reach out via our contact page, comment below, or even comment on social media. A product just has to be on the market for at least a month to be able to be included in the Protein Wars, as we do try to make it as absolutely open as possible.
We’ll make an official announcement when it all goes live, although Monday the 18th of November is exactly when we’re opening voting for round one of the Ingredient Optimized backed Protein Wars. All of our past champions are in the mix and running for another title with Pro Jym, NutraBio, MAN Sports ISO Protein, Ghost Whey, and reigning, three-time champion Loaded Protein from RYSE.
