Prime and its signature Prime Hydration Drink can be found in many markets around the world that it may not necessarily be officially available, whether it’s a distributor that’s sourced it from a specific place or purchased straight from a major market like the US or UK and sold that way. Either way, the beverage behemoth from Logan Paul and KSI has put in a lot of effort in more recent years, partnering with companies in specific regions or being produced locally and growing from there.
Despite being sourceable and available in the giant market of India, this week, Prime has officially made its debut, including a presence in major retailers, thanks to its importing partner Globe Grocer Food Private, which grabbed an initial order of one million bottles. It’ll be interesting to see how competitive the company is by importing its product as opposed to having it made in India and distributed directly, but it has brought in an impressive selection of flavors, including some recently released efforts.
The family of flavors launching in India includes five originals in Ice Pop, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Watermelon, Tropical Punch, and Blue Raspberry, the eye-catching X in its blue, pink, and holographic variants, the 2024 Glowberry, and IShowSpeed’s strawberry acai collaboration. They have the same main ingredients and benefits with low sugar, BCAAs, and electrolytes for hydration, but a price that will make it tough to compete at ₹399 (4.73 USD). That is more than double what you’ll pay for the Prime Hydration Drink at Walmart or Target, which will make things challenging when taking on any market.
