Coming off the official launch of its revamped pre-workout Wrecked, where it stepped up several dosages inside the product, Huge Supplements has confirmed it is doing much the same to its peri-workout Formula XII. The original combination comes with ingredients to support performance, endurance, and recovery, including the premium carbohydrates ModCarb and ClusterDextrin, a full hit of beta-alanine and creatine, 3g of betaine, grape seed, alpha-lipoic acid, and BioPerine.
The new and upcoming Formula XII is due to hit Huge Supplements’ online store in a couple of days on Monday, and it will keep the focus very much the same. The product still has a host of reliable ingredients to support performance and recovery during your workout as well as after, hence the reference to this as a peri-workout. The brand hasn’t shared the complete facts panel for the supplement, but the few highlights it’s passed on show a much carbohydrate-heavy direction.
Huge Supplements’ sequel to Formula XII is going to have 20g of dextrose and 20g of the high-end Cluster Dextrin, again, far more carbs than its predecessor. Ornithine is still in the mix at 3g alongside a sizeable 3g of coconut water as a source of electrolytes and hydration, and there is also 5g of the new addition, glutamine. There are 12 active ingredients total in the peri-workout, leaving seven more outside of those confirmed, and they combine for over 60g, so we’re guessing there are still some of the other heavily dosed components like creatine and beta-alanine.
As mentioned, Huge Supplements is releasing the newest version of Formula XII in a couple of days on Monday directly through its online store. With the brand keeping the hefty amount of ingredients and dosages in the sequel, we’re guessing its price will be around the same as the original at $64.95. It does say it has 40 servings, ten more than the 30 from the first Formula XII, although at a weight of 1.4kgs a tub, that’s going to be 40 half servings, and 20 maximums for the 60g of actives.
