Viking Power brings its premium touch to protein powder with an infusion of PeptiStrong and Velositol

Viking Power Asgard

Viking Power has made an almost undeniably strong case to take home our International Brand Of The Year title once again, making it a two-time champion. Throughout 2024, it has been tweaking and changing many of its supplements, as well as adding new flavors, and most excitingly, it’s been expanding its already extensive selection into other categories. More recently, the house brand’s attention has been around reformulations, but today, we’ve got another all-new effort by way of Asgard.

The catch with Viking Power is that everything it does offers a premium touch or advanced approach compared to other competitors in that specific category. It is a house brand of MM Sports, which has the more basic side of the industry covered with its other lines, although, until this week, Viking Power had yet to apply its signature style to protein powder. Asgard is the first more traditional protein supplement from the award-winning brand, but it is far more than your typical entry.

Viking Power’s Asgard protein powder is powered entirely by high-end whey isolate, providing 27g of protein per serving, minimal numbers elsewhere, including 600mg of fat, 1.1g of carbohydrates, and 120 calories. It is the ingredients alongside the nutrition profile that spices up Asgard, where the whey isolate is joined by Sunfiber, the AI-discovered muscle builder PeptiStrong at a full and effective 2.4g, 2g of Velositol to enhance muscle protein synthesis and double the power of your protein, DigeZyme enzymes, LactoSpore probiotics, and finally, the absorption powerhouse AstraGin.

It is incredibly common to find a protein powder that is purely that, a source of protein; however, Viking Power’s Asgard is far more than that, as you can see. In combination with the muscle-building properties of whey and protein, you get PeptiStrong, a premium and proven muscle builder on its own, the protein enhancer Velositol, and much more. The cost of the supplement is more than your usual protein powder, as you’d expect, sitting at 999 SEK (94.50 USD), but that is for a large bag of 60 servings.
