Red Bull shows off a monk fruit-sweetened version of its Zero energy drink at NACS

Red Bull Zero With Monk Fruit

Like Monster, Red Bull is a beverage behemoth that brings the house to the annual NACS Show, and it is, once again, here in full force at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with one of the biggest energy drink presences at the event. Something that stood out to us in Red Bull’s appearance at the event is a banner of its sugar-free and low-calorie Red Bull Zero energy drink, which is nothing new and has been around for a while; however, there is a callout around this one’s neck that is distinctly different.

Here at this year’s NACS Show in Las Vegas, Red Bull is showing off a version of Red Bull Zero with the natural sweetener monk fruit extract. That is not the only sweetener in the product, but it is certainly a change in recipe, as monk fruit is not something you’ll find in the current iteration of the Zero energy drink; it features acesulfame k and sucralose as its primary sweeteners. We’re gathering this is like the many other upcoming products at NACS and is set to hit retailers and coolers next year.

Red Bull does notably say monk fruit extract isn’t the only sweetener in this variant of Red Bull Zero, so it may still have the likes of sucralose from the current iteration and isn’t necessarily a completely natural take on Red Bull Zero. The product still keeps with the theme and overall benefits of Zero, having no sugar, low calories, and presumably that signature Red Bull taste, just with the help of monk fruit.
