The bright and colorful sports nutrition brand Oath Nutrition has made a simpler, more cost-effective pre-workout with Sport Pre-Workout, utilizing the same sort of naming convention as the giant C4 and Kaged. Sport is a basic alternative to the brand’s already available Elite Pre-Workout, sitting at the much higher price of $49.99. Oath’s Sport Pre-Workout comes in 40% cheaper at $29.99 for a full-size bottle, and not only does it have slightly more servings, but the formula is very straightforward, too.
Every serving of Oath Nutrition’s Sport Pre-Workout has four ingredients, all very common and widely used in pre-workouts. There is 2g of creatine monohydrate for strength and power, and 6g of citrulline malate for muscle pumps at the usual two-to-one citrulline to malic acid ratio, meaning of that 6g, about 4g is pure citrulline. Furthering the performance side of things is beta-alanine at a light 1.5g, and lastly, for a hit of energy, you get the ever-reliable stimulant, caffeine anhydrous, at 150mg.
The dosages aren’t supremely high, except maybe the citrulline malate, which is a bit more respectable, but that does leave open the possibility for you to double serve Oath Nutrition’s second, much simpler pre-workout. Two rounds won’t push you to any concerning amounts, with the likes of 12g of citrulline malate and 300mg of caffeine. The formula actually gives Oath’s Sport Pre-Workout a you-choose angle, where you could throw down a single most days and a double for more demanding workouts.
Again, the price of Sport Pre-Workout is $29.99, $20 less than Oath Nutrition’s premium Elite Pre-Workout, although per serving, it’s an even greater difference, working out to be about 52% cheaper. There are three flavors available for the straightforward, four-ingredient pre-workout in Melonade Stand, Coco Razz, and Appleberry Orchard. You can’t actually buy Sport through the brand’s online store like Elite; you’ll have to head down to Target, where you can also get Oath’s Whey and Clear Protein.
