Metalab makes a Bubble Tea protein powder promising a mix of milky tea and brown sugar

Metalab Bubble Tea Bridge

South Africa’s Metalab has been on a tear lately, dropping four products in a little more than two months, including a completely new innovation in Instant Protein Mug Cake, a powder that turns into a deliciously soft protein-packed cake in 90 seconds. The always well-presented and marketed brand is back this week, adding to the menu of its mainstream-level Bridge protein powder, relying on a blend of whey concentrate and whey isolate to provide 24g of muscle-building protein per serving.

The latest flavor Metaab has crafted for Bridge, following on from its recent Nesquick Strawberry-like OG Strawberry Mix and the one-of-a-kind Jake’s Matcha White Chocolate Ice Cream, is a Bubble Tea protein powder inspired by the popular and internationally known beverage of the same name. The brand is looking to deliver an intriguing blend of milky tea and sweet brown sugar, reminiscent of a bubble tea, but with protein powder macros, including that 24g of protein and a lean 129 calories.

Metalab is launching its all-new Bubble Tea Bridge protein powder within the next week or so directly through its online store, and while it hasn’t been explicitly said, we suspect it’s a limited edition launch, and it may be best to treat it that way as it could sell out fast with its unique approach.
