Wet Hydration changes the active ingredients and benefits between each of its flavors

Wet Hydration

The hydration category has absolutely exploded in a number of formats, including beverage, with plenty of competitors jumping in from our side of the industry with the likes of Inspired’s Endless, the Ghost Hydration Drink, Applied’s Body Fuel, and most recently, Musashi Hydrate. Hydration beverages usually come in plastic bottles, like all those mentioned; however, the newcomer Wet Hydration mixes things up by putting its signature sports drink in an aluminum can.

The core feature of Wet Hydration’s line of products is indeed hydration, hence the name and its call out of a “functional hydration beverage” in its marketing. There are four different flavors available for the drink and interestingly, each of them has its own individual blend of ingredients. The catalog consists of the Orange Mango-flavored Essential, Energize in Blackberry Melon, the sweet and citrusy Watermelon Lime Refresh, and Wet Hydration Glow in Peach Pineapple.

Introducing Wet Hydration

Again, the active ingredients around the main Wet Hydration feature change from flavor to flavor, variant to variant, with Essential including ginger and turmeric alongside the electrolytes, and Energize adds b vitamins and 90mg of natural caffeine from green tea. We then go to the Refresh beverage, backed by a broader set of electrolytes to support hydration and performance; then finally, you have Glow infused with vitamin D and aloe vera for its beauty potential.

The varying formula purposes and formulas across the Wet Hydration family is an interesting twist, helping set the newcomer apart from the mounting competition, not just in the business of hydration and sports drinks but functional beverages as a whole. The nutrition side of any of the four offerings is clean, with no sugar and zero calories. You can try the product for yourself through the brand’s own online store or on Amazon, and both have a variety pack.
