The special edition Stroopwafel flavor of its signature protein powder, Designer Whey Protein, put together in partnership with Dutch Classic Olympia bodybuilder Wesley Vissers, isn’t all the German sports nutrition giant has cooked up for the week of the Olympia. Stroopwafel is due to hit the market tomorrow, over at esn.com, but it won’t be alone; ESN is also bringing back one of the flavor collaborations it did with another star athlete who’s about to step on the Olympia stage in Urs Kalecinski.
Vissers and Kalecinski are both competing in the Classic Olympia class and are hoping to dethrone the reigning champion, Chris Bumstead, who is attempting to become the six-time champion. For those that missed it the first time, the flavor ESN and Urs Kalecinski created that is returning for this year’s Olympia was called Grizzly Punch. The brand made that flavor for a hybrid fat-burning pre-workout called Crank Olympia, and this time around it has had a notable tweak and goes by the name Crank Olympia II.
As far as we can tell, ESN and Urs Kalecinski have kept the formula the same from Crank Olympia to Crank Olympia II, with the exception of one addition, where there is now PeakATP in the mix to maximize performance and endurance. Again, the flavor has remained the same as well with Grizzly Punch, and it is launching tomorrow night at precisely 6PM local time in Germany. ESN is going to have a strong launch sale where you’ll pay €24.43 for a full-size tub of Crank Olympia II, down from its usual €34.90.
