Waterboy is an alternative hydration brand, and by alternative, we don’t mean anything overly different in terms of ingredients or dosages, but mostly the angle it takes to the space. The colorful brand makes two supplements in Workout Hydration, indeed designed to support hydration and performance during a workout, and Weekend Hydration, built to help you recover after a long night out. New to the family this week is a third electrolyte-based product in Daily Hydration, separate from Workout and Weekend Hydration.
Daily Hydration is Waterboy’s third-ever supplement, and much like those other two, it highlights what sort of situation it aims to bring the benefit of better hydration to. The newly released product is the brand’s more cost-effective offering, coming in well below Workout and Weekend Hydration at $1.33 a stick when buying a bag of 30 at $39.99. That lower cost isn’t without sacrifice, as the contents of Daily Hydration are about half of what you get in Weekend Hydration in three fruity flavors and Unflavored.
Waterboy’s Daily Hydration isn’t exactly half of Weekend Hydration or even Workout Hydration, but it is about that, with significantly fewer electrolytes in 830mg of chloride, 140mg of potassium, 20mg of magnesium, 30mg of calcium, and 550mg of sodium for a total of 1,570mg of electrolytes. With that said, this supplement is built for hydration support throughout the day, hence the name, as opposed to the level of a workout or hangover recovery. As mentioned, you do also pay less at $39.99 for a bag of 30 servings next to $44.99 for 30 of Workout Hydration and $49.99 for 24 sticks of Weekend Hydration.
