The interesting White Knight Reign Total Body Fuel isn’t the only flavor innovation the team at the Monster Beverage Corporation has been working on; it’s also cooked something up for the quick-to-rise performance energy drink Bang. Monster acquired and became the owner of the Bang brand last year following a few legal battles and promised to rebuild the presence and distribution of the line earlier this year, which it has indeed done with several locations now reliably carrying Bang.
The flavor the Monster Beverage Corporation has created for Bang Energy is the first extension to the energy drink under Monster ownership and the first addition to its menu entirely in about two years. The current selection on the menu for the brand and its star product is a streamlined variety from what it had pre-Monster, and joining that in the very near future is Sour Ropes. From what we’ve been told, the upcoming Sour Ropes Bang Energy Drink is a sweet, sour candy-style experience.
Similar to White Knight Reign Total Body Fuel, it is expected to be a while before the Sour Ropes Bang Energy Drink makes its way to market, potentially into early next year, but this is going off the bits and pieces we’ve seen and heard, not straight from the beverage behemoth itself.
