Science In Sport puts a respectable 1.5g of electrolytes in its dedicated hydration stick pack

Science In Sport Hydro

Just a couple of months after the launch of its classic carbohydrate and protein blend, Beta Recovery, a nicely balanced and scaleable macro-focused supplement, Science In Sport in the United Kingdom, has introduced Hydro+. The innovation is, of course, for the exploding hydration space, the flavored powder supplement side of it, with the legacy supplement company sticking to familiar ingredients and benefits as its fans and followers are used to seeing in its many other offerings.

Science In Sport’s Hydro+ is all about vitamins and minerals, with vitamin c and b vitamins, and five crucial electrolytes to improve hydration, performance, and recovery. Those electrolytes are dosed respectably high at a combined total of 1.57g, breaking down into 350mg of sodium, 750mg of chloride, 300mg of potassium, 120mg of calcium, and 56mg of magnesium. Typically, when you get big names entering hydration with an electrolyte-only formula, the dosages aren’t great but that’s not the case here.

Hydro+ from Science In Sport is out now and available directly through its official online store at scienceinsport.com, and as stacked as the formula is, it definitely pairs the simplified electrolyte-focused approach with an equally simple price tag. Straight from the brand’s website, you’ll pay £8.99 for a pack of six single-serving stick packs for easier consumption when on the move. There is also a larger box of 20 stick packs, working out to a much nicer £1.19 (1.59 USD) each or a total of £23.99.
