Optimum expands its presence at Target with more Gold Standard flavors and its RTD

Optimum Nutrition Extensions At Target

Legendary supplement company Optimum Nutrition has had a presence in big box retailers like Target for many years, and rightfully so, as we consider it one of those Mount Rushmore brands where it doesn’t quite feel like a sports nutrition store or aisle without it. At Target, the legacy brand had its signature protein powder Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein, the alternative Gold Standard 100% Plant Protein, and the hybrid AmiNO Energy; a selection that has been grealty expanded this month.

Optimum Nutrition has beefed up its presence at Target here in September, giving Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein several more flavors to choose from and adding the premixed, ready-to-drink product to the retailer’s shelves. Now available in Target next to its already available Double Rich Chocolate, Vanilla Ice Cream, and Strawberries & Cream flavors of Gold Standard Whey are French Vanilla Cream, Cinnamon Roll, Fruity Cereal, and Extreme Milk Chocolate, all in the store’s smaller 1.5lb tub.

As mentioned, Optimum Nutrition’s RTD has also been rolled out to Target with the Gold Standard Protein Shake, packing 24g of protein per 11oz shake with just a gram of sugar and a lean 140 calories. There are two flavors to choose from for that product in Chocolate and Vanilla, leaving out the recently released Strawberry. You can begin seeing all of these extensions to Optimum Nutrition’s Target lineup starting this month, powering up its presence and most definitely drawing more attention.
