Details recently surfaced on an all-new flavor of the iconic Red Bull energy drink as a part of its annual seasonal editions with the Winter Edition Iced Vanilla Berry, available in regular and sugar-free variants. Since that information was published, we got reports from numerous individuals about the limited-time flavor extension having a different name. It was certainly interesting to hear since there were cans photographed and seen with Iced Vanilla Berry, although there is an explanation for all of this.
Having different names for different flavors in other parts of the world is not common, but certainly happens, similar to brands, toys, and even movies. We dug a little deeper into Red Bull’s Winter Edition Iced Vanilla Berry, and there are indeed countries out there that have a similar-looking and identically described product under an alternative name. Iced Vanilla Berry has appeared in the likes of the United Kingdom and Germany; in Sweden, there is Iced Cotton Candy, and in Austria has Iced Gummy Bear.
As mentioned, Red Bull describes each of those pretty much the same, with a blend of vanilla, blueberry, and a hint of eucalyptus for an icy feel. Iced Gummy Bear does also say it has an infusion of gummy bear in its experience, so it may be different, but it still claims that consistent blend of blueberry, vanilla, and eucalyptus is present. Basically, if you see the light blue-colored Winter Edition, don’t be confused by Iced Vanilla Berry, Iced Cotton Candy, or Iced Gummy Bear, as it seems they have that same underlying flavor.
