Sports drink giant Bodyarmor has gone pretty hard on the collaborations over the last year or so, getting together with many of its top-tier athletes and ambassadors for special edition reskins of popular flavors, including Joe Burrow’s Orange Mango as well as Ryan Blaney’s version of the same taste. As football season is now in full swing and rolling into week four, Bodyarmor has partnered with another one of the NFL superstars on its roster in the powerhouse running back Christian McCaffrey.
Leading into this weekend’s home game for the San Francisco 49ers against the New England Patriots, and hopefully evening out its wins and losses, Bodyarmor has revealed and released a reskin of the Fruit Punch flavor of its signature sports drink. The branding of the product features all sorts of marks and references to the star running back, including McCaffrey’s autograph, number, and an eye-catching illustration of him, but all of the same electrolytes and Fruit Punch flavor on the inside.
Bodyarmor has said that its Christian McCaffrey edition of the Fruit Punch beverage has been launched in San Francisco, nowhere else, meaning this is an exclusive hard-to-get drop, and it’s only going to be around for a limited time, too. Do keep in mind that Bodyarmor’s signature sports drink is high in carbohydrates, it is not one of its lighter, low-calorie offerings, where you get 29g of carbohydrates a bottle, all of that sugar, and a calorie count of 120.
