Sci-Core in South Africa has reworked its selection of sports nutrition supplements that fall under the pre-workout category, where, in its words, it now has something for everyone, and that includes individuals looking at the higher end. Joining the already available Noxi Pre and Noxi Pump this month is a more comprehensive and well-rounded competitor by the name of Noxi Loaded, which isn’t quite the premium pre-workout we’ve been seeing many others out there put together.
Noxi Loaded from South Africa’s Sci-Core doesn’t really step up the variety of active ingredients or the dosages; it sticks with relatively traditional components and common amounts, but there is one core feature the marketing is focused on. Like Noxi Pre, Noxi Loaded has the likes of citrulline and beta-alanine for pumps and performance, but those two are alongside a more balanced selection, with relatively equal support for energy, focus, pumps, performance, and strength, whereas Noxi Pre leans more on the sensory, stimulant side of things.
The complete formula powering Sci-Core’s Noxi Loaded pre-workout includes 6g of straight citrulline and 2.5g of betaine for pumps, 3.2g of bet-alanine for performance, a gram of taurine, 300mg of tyrosine for focus, theanine, huperzine, electrolytes, and 300mg of caffeine for energy. The part the brand is putting extra attention on is the strength and power portion, as Noxi Loaded does have a full 2.5g dose of creatine HCl, compared to Noxi Pre, where you don’t get any source of creatine.
Sci-Core did say its selection of Noxi pre-workouts is now more comprehensive, with something for everyone, and Noxi Loaded comes on board to support that, with its more evenly spread blend of energy, focus, pumps, and performance. The creatine inclusion is a standout feature not just for the South African brand but sports nutrition in general, as it’s not found in pre-workouts as much as it used to, although it’s in Noxi Loaded in its three flavors, Tropical, Berry, and Blue Freeze.
