Optimum looks as though it’s about to drop its first actual flavor of Micronized Creatine

Optimum Flavored Creatine

For as long as we can remember, Optimum Nutrition has had a strong presence in the category of creatine, mostly due to the strong value it offers. While there has been an immense amount of competition coming into the space these past few months, it maintains a healthy position with a nice variety of sizes and values available, going as big as its mammoth 2.64lber. Looking at the legacy brand’s latest teaser graphic, it seems as though we’re in for some creatine innovation from Optimum.

We have thrown the picture Optimum Nutrition has put out into the world, above, clearly featuring a small, potentially 60 serving bottle of Micronized Creatine Powder, the brand’s long-running standalone supplement in the creatine category. Where things get interesting is Optimum has said something new is coming and featuring a “citrus twist”, pointing us in one very specific direction. With all of the clues considered, it looks as though the brand is launching its first flavored Micronized Creatine Powder.

Standalone flavored creatine has become significantly more popular in recent years, where instead of getting bulk bottles of raw unflavored creatine monohydrate, brands have been throwing in a touch of flavor. Fans seemed to have responded to that variety, and many sports nutrition companies now have their straightforward creatine in actual flavors as well as stackable unflavored. Optimum Nutrition looks as though it is about to do that, too, with maybe a Blueberry Lemonade Micronized Creatine Powder.
