Mucho sets itself apart with a meal replacement profile including a hefty 35g of protein

Mucho Meal Bar

Mucho is an all-new functional food brand and product that is about to make its way to market, and it is actually something very different. While you’ll hear brands of all shapes and sizes say their protein snack or healthy food is never-before-seen or a game changer, this genuinely is different, and it isn’t necessarily by way of format. Mucho mixes things up not by packing protein into a whole new shape or lowering sugar in a familiar food; it sets itself apart by being a comprehensive meal replacement bar.

The first-ever product from Mucho is called Meal Bar, and that is precisely what it is. The brand has spent a lot of time, money, and effort into creating and perfecting a bar that gives you a balanced blend of nutrition, including high protein, uses quality ingredients, and tastes great. It is in that mix of macros that you get a different type of product, as most protein snacks aim to deliver 20g of protein and drop the carbohydrates and fat to as low as possible without sacrificing the taste and texture, if possible.

Mucho Meal Bar

Mucho and its upcoming Meal Bar aim for a balanced, meal replacement nutrition profile, and they deliver on that with a hefty 35g of protein, an almost one-to-one ratio at 30g of carbohydrates, a low 3g of that is sugar, 19g of fat, and a calorie count of 500. All of that comes from a rather short set of ingredients, including sunflower butter, milk protein crisps which build the Rice Krispies Treat-type main body, glycerin, maltitol, milk protein contributing to that 35g of protein, chocolate chips, tapioca syrup, and sea salt.

We’ve seen more protein snacks and functional foods than most people out there and have to hand it to Mucho for differentiating by way of nutrition. Its signature Meal Bar had a goal of offering a comprehensive set of macros, and it does that with more protein than we’ve ever seen in a bar before at 35g, and slightly less than that in carbohydrates with almost none of it sugar. The product will be available sometime next week and we look forward to taking it for a spin and genuinely replacing a meal.
