Momentous brings together all sorts of actives for its genuinely comprehensive post-workout drink

Momentous Elite Recovery

Momentous is a supplement company designed for everyday performance, and it does very much offer health and nutrition products for most individuals. It doesn’t specialize in any specific area like sports, lifestyle, or general health, but it has supplements that apply to those audiences with versatile standalones like Creatine, Rhodiola, and Turmeric, as well as a whey isolate-powered protein powder. The newest extension to the brand is more on the sports side, and in a format it had yet to reach into.

Elite Recovery is an advanced post-workout beverage from Momentous designed to comprehensively support muscle recovery and repair after intense exercise. Typically, that involves a solid dose of protein and carbohydrates, and while that is a part of the supplement, that is only the beginning. Momentous has squeezed a host of active ingredients into Elite Recovery, all while still taking care of those core macros with 45g of protein from grass-fed whey isolate and 42g of carbohydrates from maltodextrin.

Momentous Elite Recovery Details

Where things get interesting is alongside the almost one-to-one ratio of protein to carbohydrates is a full dose of strength and performance-supporting creatine monohydrate at 5g and a reliable 2.5g of a similarly-minded daily ingredient in 2.5g of betaine. The list goes on from there into a solid 5g of premium Fortigel collagen for its ability to improve joint comfort, function, and performance, a variety of electrolytes for post-workout hydration, 300mg of KSM-66’s high-quality and intensely studied ashwagandha, and half a gram of a favorite recovery-enhancer of ours in FruitSource tart cherry.

We should note that while we refer to Momentous’ newly released Elite Recovery as a beverage, it is technically a powder supplement that comes in a bottle. It isn’t exactly a ready-to-drink product, it’s more of a semi-RTD, where you get a serving of the powder in a plastic bottle. You consume it the same way you would any other beverage, it just requires you to fill it up with water and shake before putting it to use.

Many brands say they have a complete and comprehensive supplement on their hands, but it’s usually taken with a grain of salt, as while it may be complete by one standard, that doesn’t necessarily stand up to the immense competition of the industry. Momentous’ Elite Recovery is not one those, as it genuinely covers all of your bases when it comes to recovery supplementation. The one downside is it comes at a price; where through the brand’s online store, a pack of six is $75.95, working out to $12.65 a bottle.
