Huel brings its energy drink to the US with a few changes to make for a stronger competitor

Huel Energy Drink In The Us

Huel has come through and followed up its teaser with a complete release of the product we suspected it had up its sleeve for the US market. The brand didn’t show off everything initially, in true teaser fashion, but it included enough to have us thinking we were about to see an American version of its energy drink, Huel Daily A-Z Vitamins. That previously mystery produce its now available for purchase directly through huel.com and while it is a vitamin, mineral, and energy beverage, it has a few differences.

Firstly, the name of the energy drink for the US from Huel is not Daily A-Z Vitamins, despite the many similarities. The health and nutrition brand has titled its canned energy solution Huel Energy+, packed full of 27 different vitamins and minerals, one more than the 26 you get in the UK company’s original Daily A-Z Vitamins. The caffeine has been doubled to 200mg for a stronger hit of energy, theanine is in the mix for smooth, uplifting energy, and there is over a gram of electrolytes for hydration.

The variety of flavors Huel has given to the Huel Energy+ beverage is understandably separate from the menu of Daily A-Z Vitamins. It’s very common for brands to change the taste or selection of flavors for products from country to country, as, obviously, not everyone in the world enjoys the same sort of experiences. There are three flavors for Energy+, all made with real fruit juice for an authentic taste in Blue Raspberry, Pineapple Mango, and Watermelon with 3g of sugar and 35 calories.

The first place you can go to get your hands on Huel Energy+, which is essentially an alternative, US version of the Daily A-Z Vitamins energy drink, is huel.com, specifically the dedicated American online store. Going direct, you can get the beverage at a reasonable $37.50 for a case of a dozen cans, working out to $3.13 a piece, or if you’d prefer to subscribe and receive it regularly, you can save a fair amount of money and get a box at $30, breaking down into a much better $2.50 per drink.
