FitSnack mimics legendary candy bars in its self-titled selection of protein snacks

Fitsnack Self Titled Brand

Functional food specialist FitSnack in the United Arab Emirates is both a reliable manufacturer — recently opening its own state-of-the-art production facility — as well as a variety of brands that demonstrate its creativity and ability. Everything done in its other brands can be produced for other companies interested in creating a line of better-for-you foods and protein snacks, and one of those house brands is the self-titled FitSnack, which is quite an interesting family of sugar-free bars.

The fun and interesting angle taken by FitSnack in its FitSnack family of bar-format protein snacks is each of the products under its banner aims to replicate the taste and texture of iconic sugar-filled candy bars. There is the Picnic-like nutty Mad Snack, Extra Nuts featuring a Snicker-style build of chocolate, caramel, and peanuts, Nougat Fit with Mars’ familiar layers of flavor, and last but not least, Paradise, a decadent blend of milk chocolate and coconut, matching that of Bounty.

It is worth noting, unlike some of the other offerings on the market from FitSnack and the products it produces for others, the likes of Mad Snack and Extra Nuts under the FitSnack brand, are not overly high in protein. This family is designed more as a better-for-you alternative, as none of the candy bar-inspired innovations have any sugar, reasonable carbohydrates never going beyond 12g, moderate protein between 3 to 8g, and calories of less than 200. There is one exception to those calories in the Snickers-inspired Extra Nuts, which packs 18g of fat for 246 calories.

As mentioned, FitSnack’s self-titled house brand is an interesting and intriguing effort, giving you a great way to experience a candy bar without all of the sugar that usually comes with it. The sugar is non-existent, the protein is present and moderate, and the calories are fair. The FitSnack family is available in the manufacturer and brand’s local Middle Eastern market, and if you’re interested in having something similar made for your own line, be sure to reach out via info@fitsnack.ae or Instagram.
