Most multivitamins or comprehensive health supplements come in capsule or tablet format, with the well-put-together ones typically being multiple pills per serving, not a single. On the odd occasion, you’ll get a flavored powder multivitamin, but even rarer is a pack-style product, and by that, we mean multiple pills in prepackaged pouches. Animal Pak, of course, made that format famous, although many others have done it since, including the international giant Applied Nutrition with its all-new Black Stak.
Black Stak is an all-in-one health pack from Applied Nutrition and it is a genuine all-in-one that stretches far beyond a common blend of vitamins and minerals. Similar to other pack-type supplements, the brand has shared a map of what each of the pills in the packs is for and you can match each of them to the ingredients on the back. This is incredibly helpful for those who may be taking another product that has crossover, and you can simply not take that pill, or there might just be something you want to avoid.
There are 11 pills in every pack of Applied Nutrition’s Black Stak; again, each of them is filled with a specific set of ingredients for a particular area of health and wellness. The list includes a general multivitamin blend, a tablet of B vitamins, another tablet for minerals, an antioxidant capsule with the likes of alpha lipoic acid and green tea, vitamin c and rosehip, fish oil with 910mg of omega-3 powder, and a CLA capsule.
The rest of the pills in a serving of Black Stak are what make it a comprehensive health solution. Applied Nutrition has also thrown in a nootropic capsule with the likes of ashwagandha, gotu kola, and rhodiola, a group for stress relief with the help of coQ10, liver support with turmeric and milk thistle, and finally, a blend of inflammation-reducing components in boswellia, turmeric, bromelain, and ginger root extract.
Applied Nutrition has done a great job in Black Stak at bringing together about seven or so different supplements into the one formula. While the ingredients and dosages aren’t quite what you’d get in a product dedicated entirely to one specific area, the brand has brought them together all for the price of £39.99 (52.36 USD). It is more than your traditional multivitamin, but as explained, you get a lot more coverage too, and it’s available now straight from Applied’s online store in bottles of 30 packs.
